interview paper

Almost every person growing up goes through it, College. In the past paying for college was doable. Today, people are still paying for their college debt in their 40’s. College tuition is rising every year, draining more and more money out of young people lives.
If you are not one of the lucky few that had their parents save money for college or just filthy rich, most likely you are the one paying for your college loans and such.
( Show college students walking about)
(Paul  N.)
College tuition is rising because of many factors. One major reason is the grants and loans that the government hands out so easily. Another reason is general inflation and the amount of funding for colleges.
( Show more students doing their own thing)

(Andy M)
The price of college is depressing. It just doesn’t seem right to walk out into the world and immediately owe debt. It’s ridiculous.

What’s also ridiculous is that the tuition costs are rising during a recession to make things worse. These days college students can’t afford anything besides the essentials.

(show a common dorm)

(Mark N.)
Most jobs today require degrees, even mediocre jobs won’t consider you if you don’t have one. You can’t do anything about the costs, but you can lessen them by taking on multiple jobs in your free time, apply for grants, financial aid or scholarships as possible, you would be stupid not to. The next best thing is starting out in a community college then trasferring to another school. It saves you a lot of money if you aren't worried about missing out on the college dorm experience.

truman paper

“Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!”  is one of the many memorable quotes from the enjoyable and thought provoking movie, The Truman Show. I liked the movie because it had great actors, a good story and good music.
Music is important in all movies and shows, without it it would be plain like a black and white movie. Music contributes a lot to the mood of a movie. Speedy and loud music makes action scenes that much more tense. If scary movies had no music then it wouldn’t even be all that exciting or frightening. For scenes in the movie, the music sets the mood and feeling. The music stops during the part where Truman reaches the wall to dramatize the “end”. I also liked the Truman sleeps song with the piano. It was soothing and kind of beautiful. The movie and music deserved to win the golden globe award.
The movie makes you think a lot. This movie is realistic in a way because of internets sites like twitter and facebook and myspace, but they don’t show that much video and they don’t show every second of the person’s life. The people also get to choose what is seen or heard. I guess in a way the Truman Show is similar to todays reality shows and mtv. However there is a big difference; the people on mtv know that they are on camera and the shows seem very scripted and fake to me. If there was a show like this I would watch it. It would be highly unlikely in real life to have a show like the Truman show because how would they not know about that many camera’s and it would cost way too much, how would they build a mini world. Also the show would not be that exciting. I do like the concept of the movie and I thought it was enjoyable to watch.
I liked how the movie ended. I liked how it was ambiguous and was left up to the viewer to interpret the ending. I liked how Truman was able to escape the world that was created for him and became free of Christofs control. I also liked the humor that was incorporated by the two security guards. It also reminded me of how quickly people can be forgotten which is kind of sad. I liked how the movie went in a full circle. Truman says the same quote in the beginning and the end. I did want to see what happened to Truman and Sylvia though. The viewers probably went back to doing their own thing or went to watch another show.
The movie was really good and I’ve never seen anything like it before. It makes you wonder what if people actually made a show like that or if your life is scripted or something. Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!

final

“There are those people who are catfish in life. And they keep you on your toes. They keep you guessing, they keep you thinking, they keep you fresh. And I thank god for the catfish because we would be droll, boring and dull if we didn't have somebody nipping at our fin”- Vince Pierce. Catfish is an intriguing adventure that tells of a seemingly ordinary internet relationship gone wrong. After watching this movie you will probably never trust anyone on the internet again. This movie is surprisingly satisfying and is hilarious if you can relate.
The name of the movie is Catfish. The directors are Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. The main Character is Yaniv Schulman or Nev for short, His brother Ariel and their friend Henry Joost. The production company is Hit the ground running films and Rogue films. The movie was made in 2010.
The story starts as a documentary about an eight year old painter named Abby but then a relationship forms and things take a turn for the worst. They travel to Michigan after Nev had a relationship with Abby’s sister for 8 months. Nev falls in love and decides to pay a surprise visit to his mysterious lover. Then he realizes things are not as they seem.
I really liked Nev. He seemed really down to earth and a genuinely nice guy. He was pretty patient and paid for Abby’s paintings when Angela talked on the phone and how he took a bunch of pictures for Abby to paint. He was also very kind as he discovered Angela’s lies one by one. He also treated Angela very well when making her come clean. If I were in his position, I would have left long ago.
I liked the movie. It kept you guessing although you have some suspicions. Mostly teens and adults would like the movie because they get that type of thing (face book and relationships). I liked the movie because of mystery and feeling of wanting to know more.

final catfish

The movie was a good movie. I am kind of disgusted but also sympathetic towards angela. She was a straight up liar. She almost lied about everything, she even lied about having cancer and abby painting. I think it was really sad how she felt trap and made her own world. It was scary how she pretty much stole that girls identity and how she had so many pictures of her. Nev is such a nice guy for putting up with it and being so gentle with the situation. I probably would of left that house a long time ago. I am never going to have an online relationship. I thought the title was pretty clever and how angela was the catfish.

catfish pt1

I thought the movie is pretty good so far. Nev is a pretty cool dude it seems. I just don't know what to believe right now. The movie just shows people can just lie to your face and you'll never know. I find the family to be really strange and shady. Why would that megan girl lie about those songs being hers? It's strange really, it seems like the whole family is in on the scheme. I'm wondering how things are gonna turn out when they go to michigan. I want to know what is real and what isn't. I think it's funny when people lie to you and you already know.
